cool, mais um ponto pro Bowie, já conhecia o cover da catpower, mas não sabia de quem era o original, obrigado coisas-que-fascinam!
Hoje resolvi ver como andava o teu blog... Nao consegui conter-me e achei que tinha que comentar esta musica!!
É simplesmente uma das músicas que eu mais gosto do Bowie mas sobretudo porque a versão da Nina Simone é verdadeiramente única. E tanta, tanta lágrima já correu enquanto a ouvia... :-( Genial!! Continuo a ouvi-la tantas vezes...
Para terminar, só alguns esclarecimentos a "pandoracomplexa": a versão original não é esta do Bowie! Na verdade, esta música é de um filme do George Cukor com a Anna Magnani e o Anthony Quinn, de 1957, com o mesmo nome. Quem a cantava era Johnny Mathis. Em 1966, Nina Simone cantava no seu albúm também intitulado "Wild is the wind". Bowie gravou esta música para o seu albúm de 1976, Station to Station, após ter conhecido a Nina (mais un fan da Nina...)
